Great Ormond Street Hospital

Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity needs to raise over £50 million every year to enable Great Ormond Street Hospital to provide world-class care for its young patients and their families.

“We would like to thank Charlie for choosing us to benefit from his World Record Attempt. This is a huge personal challenge and everyone at the charity and hospital wish him success. The money will help us continue to work with children across the UK and indeed the world, with serious and often life threatening conditions.

Great Ormond Street Hospital is a world-class children’s hospital, with the broadest range of paediatric specialists under one roof anywhere in the UK. The hospital welcomes around 192,000 patient visits each year, treating patients with the most complex, life-threatening or life-limiting conditions. We need to raise £50 million every year to help rebuild and refurbish Great Ormond Street Hospital, buy vital equipment and fund pioneering research. We are extremely grateful to Charlie for fundraising for us and we hope he smashes the world record.”

The C Group, supporting Royal Marines in Need

The purpose of The C Group is to raise awareness and generate practical support throughout the business community for Royal Marines, particularly those who are suffering the long-term effects of injuries sustained on operations.

“In 2012, I had the chance to join the C Group Arctic Challenge in Norway, where my connection and understanding of the Royal Marines and what they do was strengthened. In particular, I became aware of the hardships endured by those Marines who have sustained injuries whilst serving their country on operations and return at a huge disadvantage both physically and in their occupation.

The C Group provides a fantastic means to help rehabilitate those injured Royal Marines back into business and ‘normal life’ as it were.”
